Lincoln Ndogoni

Psycho-social advisor & Counselor

Lincoln Ndogoni is a Relaxed Psycho-social advisor & Counselor. He has Provided Counseling Services to individuals, families and groups globally -(Face to Face & ONLINE). He believes that clients support and care is first priority. He specializes in management of Traumatic Experiences, Depression, Minimization of Emotional Distress/ Pain and Improved Functional Capacity using a clients internal resources.

In collaboration with Universities such as Johns Hopkins, Colombia & Nairobi, he has over the last 25 years spearheaded the development of evidence based culturally appropriate Psychosocial treatment interventions in Africa. He has Designed , Trained , Implemented and Managed MHPSS & Staff Support Programs for NGOS, UN Agencies and Private sector in several countries including Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Tanzania, DRC, Somalia, Sudan, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Mauritania, South Africa, Zambia, Malawi, Swaziland, Lesotho, Sri lanka and Lebanon. He holds an M.A (Community Development) & Higher Diploma, Counseling Psychology.

Purity Ngare

Senior Counseling Psychologist & Trainer

Purity Ngare is an experienced counseling psychologist with over 15 years of expertise in Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS), trauma recovery, and behavioral change interventions. She has worked extensively with children, families, persons with disabilities, and individuals affected by trauma, substance abuse, and safeguarding violations.

Purity is highly skilled in Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs), capacity building, and survivor centered psychosocial interventions, making her well-equipped to lead training sessions, crisis intervention, and case management and safeguarding program. She is also a member of the Kenya Psychological Association (KPA) and has been part of the Psychosocial Support Centre (PSC) since 2007, demonstrating her commitment to advancing mental health and psychosocial well-being.

Sophie Nyambura Muriuki

Senior Clinical Psychologist and Consultant

Sophie Nyambura Muriuki is a Clinical Psychologist and Consultant with extensive expertise in mental health, trauma recovery, and psychosocial support. She specializes in psychotherapy, rehabilitation, psychological first aid, and employee assistance programs, working with diverse populations, including survivors of trauma, human trafficking, and refugees. With a Master’s in Clinical Psychology from United States International University (USIU) and a Bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of Western Australia, Sophie has built a career dedicated to mental health advocacy, clinical supervision, and community- based interventions.

She has provided counseling and psychological support to survivors of torture, human trafficking, and forced displacement, working with organizations such as HAART Kenya, the Center for Victims of Torture, and the Refugee Consortium of Kenya. Her expertise spans clinical assessments, psychotherapy, training, and the development of structured counseling programs, including an 8-week couples therapy program and an employee assistance initiative.

Sophie is also a trainer and supervisor for mental health professionals, having conducted psychological first aid and debriefing sessions for frontline healthcare workers during the COVID-19 pandemic. Her work is backed by certifications in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Art Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Play Therapy. She is an active member of Kenya Psychological Association, Clinical Psychologists Association of Kenya, and EMDR Kenya Association. Her commitment to mental health awareness, trauma healing, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions makes her an invaluable resource in the field of clinical psychology.

Beulah Njagi

Psychologist

Beulah Njagi is a dedicated Psychologist with experience in mental health counseling, psychosocial support, and therapeutic interventions. She has worked extensively in clinical, school, and community-based settings, providing individual and group therapy, psychoeducation, and crisis intervention.

Beulah has served as a Hospital Psychologist at Chiromo Hospital Group, where she developed personalized treatment plans, facilitated art therapy, family therapy, and psychoeducational workshops, and provided mental health crisis interventions. She has also worked as a Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) Facilitator at the Psychosocial Support Center, leading community-based interventions, teacher training, and youth mental health programs. Additionally, as a School Counselor, she has been instrumental in life skills training, mental health awareness, and behavioral support for students.

Grace Wanjiku

– Child and Adolescent Counseling Specialist

Grace Wanjiku is a Child Rights Advocate and Counseling Psychologist with extensive experience in working with children, adolescents, and young people. She specializes in play therapy, art therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for children facing trauma and emotional distress. Since 2016, she has been leading youth and adolescent mental health programs at the Psychosocial Support Centre (PSC), ensuring that children and teenagers receive age-appropriate psychosocial interventions.

Grace is also a trainer for parents and caregivers, providing them with practical parenting skills and mental health education to support child development. She has played a pivotal role in developing psychosocial training manuals for parenting programs and has coordinated safeguarding initiatives in various international settings. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication, a Higher Diploma in Counseling Psychology, and is finalizing a Master’s in Childhood Development, specializing in Child Therapy. Her membership in the Association of Play Therapy Kenya, Kenya Counsellors and Psychologists Association, and Global Mental Health Network reflects her commitment to advancing best practices in child and adolescent mental health.

Linnet Vunoro Okwara

– Clinical Psychologist and Trauma Specialist

Linnet Okwara is a clinical psychologist with a wealth of experience in trauma recovery, forensic psychology, and rehabilitative mental health care. She has served as a probation officer and deputy director at the Ministry of Interior, where she played a key role in developing national frameworks for mental health interventions among vulnerable populations.

She is highly skilled in trauma-focused therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and cognitive behavioral interventions for survivors of violence and abuse. Her experience in gender and disability inclusion, safeguarding protocols, and quality assurance in mental health programs makes her an invaluable resource for case management and high-risk safeguarding intervention

Eunice Njeri

Associate Psychologist

Eunice Gachura is an associate psychologist with Psychosocial Support Centre. She graduated from Oxford Brookes University with an Msc in Psychology Over the course of her career, she has gained considerable expertise in setting, organising and running community programmes aimed at young people aged between 11 and 25. Through these programmes, She has helped young people to explore and understand their ideas, values and beliefs, building their confidence and life skills so that they can make a successful transition to adulthood.

She provides counselling services specifically for children and youth and also provides skill-based training, psycho-education and capacity-building in schools churches and communities.

Kenneth Kinyanjui

IT Support & Communications Officer

Kenneth Kinyanjui is an IT professional currently working as the IT Support and Communications Officer at Psychosocial Support Center. He is experienced with technical computing work as well as creative assignments.

He has also facilitated youth based programs focused on mental health awareness and written blogs on the subject He graduated from Africa Digital Media with a Diploma in Film and Television production and is a published author. He handles the camera word and video recordings for the company. My goal as a creative, is to master skills relevant to today’s competitive creative industry as well as tell stories that capture the hearts and minds of anyone who comes across them.

Abel Omariba

– Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) Specialist

Abel Omariba is a seasoned expert in Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) with over 15 years of experience in program management, humanitarian interventions, and safeguarding projects. He has a strong background in psychosocial needs assessment, case management, and data-driven program evaluation, making him instrumental in ensuring the effectiveness of psychosocial support services.

His expertise includes designing and implementing M&E frameworks, strategic planning, and performance monitoring systems. Abel’s deep knowledge of traumainformed care, community-based interventions, and program accountability mechanisms makes him a vital asset to this project.

Emma Wandia

Psychologist & Trainer

An experienced counseling psychologist and a trainer, who has offered counseling and training services for diverse individuals: in health facilities, at schools, in counseling and consultancy institution and in different forums. She also has exposure and competence in office administration, project managements, Data collection, and translation of documents, report writing and coaching.

Being a youth, she is passionate about working with young people of whom she enjoy offering counseling and trainings in life skills and Business with the aim of positively equipping them with resilience to cope with emerging and transitional life challenges. She also is open to listen, support and walk with all types of people, in need of psychosocial support. Some organizations she has worked in/with include: Kenyatta Hospital, Street Families Rehabilitation Trust Fund, PLAN international, PAN, World Vision, and Aayden.
